Celebrate the New Year on the piazza in front of the Malmö Opera. There will be a grand celebration that offers Malmö opera chorus, magical fireworks and dancing under the stars. New Year's Festival begins at 23:30 with a concert by the Malmö opera chorus and soloists. Then read Lars Humble a New Year's poem before a grand fireworks display marks the end of 2016. For those who want to see then to dance to soft music on a hopefully starry winter sky. The music will continue until approximately 1:00. There is free admission.
