The site of Birkenhead Priory which lies next to Cammell Laird Shipyard Dock No.4 which was the birth place of the most successful battleship ever built "The Alabama". A very interesting place with lots of history attached to Liverpool. They do say if you come from Birkenhead your a true Scouser as it existed before Liverpool did.

850 year old Birkenhead Priory is a cloister turned into a museum. If you climb up the tower you will see an amazing panorama of Liverpool with the neighbouring working docks yard in a full swing of ship refurbishment seen from the bird’s eye view.
