Fantastic beach with spectacular views. Great for walking, surfing. It can be windy, so avoid on a windy day, if you are planning to sunbathe.

It is an incredibly beautiful beach due to its unique landscape formed by dunes, vegetation and the magnificent Sintra Mountains as background. This beach is famous worldwide due to the massive waves, when combined with the near constant breeze form the ideal conditions for surfers. However, when climate conditions are favourable it is also great for bathing. Worths a visit.
