606 Club

Tucked away on Lots Road in Chelsea, the 606 jazz club is one of the longest running and most undersung venues in London. It’s shown the finest jazz acts (mainly British) for half a century. There’s live music seven nights a week and always a good crowd. You may see the owner, Steve, introducing the band and even sitting in himself on the flute. It’s worth making a whole night of it, as the kitchen serves great food with European and Middle Eastern influences. The quinoa salad and almond tart are dynamite. It’s one of my favourite places to bring friends and family.
