The Museum of Fine Arts is considered one of the first museums that was built to display the different colors of arts in the Middle East. This museum includes many creative arts created by a group of Egyptians and other foreign nationals. It is considered one of the most prominent cultural and artistic landmarks in Alexandria. The Museum of Fine Arts was established when a resident of Alexandria called “The Baron de Mancha” gave his city a large building or a villa to display various arts, and the paintings brought by the artist “Edward Fried” were displayed, numbering 210, paintings by great foreign creators, and stipulated that they should be kept in a place. Amin to display these distinguished paintings. This museum includes other artworks such as printing and engraving, and there are art workshops to teach different arts for all age groups, especially children.

متحف الفنون الجميلة بالإسكندرية : أول متحف بُني خصيصاً ليكون متحفاً للفنون الجميلة في مصر والشرق الأوسط. يضم المتحف مجموعة كبيرة من أعمال الفنانين المصريين الرواد يالإضافة إلي بعض أعمال المدرسة الرومانسية، الباروك والروكوكو وبعض لوحات المستشرقين
