Very well known traditional cuisine, mostly high quality meat and fish, all local. I always order seasonal food, such as vrganje soup (a type of local mushroom) or asparagus!

The Borgonja tavern is tucked on a quiet street in a quiet Croatian courtyard. It is known for its fresh Croatian cuisine and a variety of native Croatian wine such as wine Diklić, malvasia and teran as well as Franc Arman, Degrassi and many others.

You need to try the t-bone (a.k.a Fiorentina) grilled right in front of you Istrian-style on the open fireplace. And make sure you don't skip dessert, their pistachio souffle will have you reminiscing about it for days.
