category 1 Heritage listed, connects Durie Hill to the city. Walk the 205m long tuneel, be sure to see how the echoes rebound, then use the public elevator to the Towers at the top for elevated and expansive views of our city.
Travel up the 100 year old elevator to Durie Hill, once at the top you will have lovely views over Wanganui and its river. A must do. Access the elevator 100m to the right of The Red Lion by City Bridge. Or walk up the more than 150 steps to the top, great if you want a work out!
