Mount Majura (860m) sits behind the Purple House a 15 minute walk away. Great trails through the nature reserve. Climbing to the top for views over north Canberra. The Yellow Box Red Gum Grassy woodland is home to lots of local birds, and animals, including kangaroos, possums, parrots and many types of lizards. Many species of wildflowers and orchids, depending on the season. You can access by walking the path outside our back gate, which connects to Antill Street cark part entrance (or drive or ride there). Approx 1.5 - 2 hours return to the top and back. There are dirt trails for mountain biking and dogs on leash are permitted. Take a walk - its a beautiful way to start your day.

You can walk from here to the start ofthe easement on the corner of Fleming and Aspinall Sts, or park closer to the foot of the mountain on Antill St. Wonderful views especially to the east past the airport.
