We bike to the nearby Klein Kalfje for warme chocomelke; this is in Amstelveen; right by the Amstel river and passed a windmill.

A very nice and cozy restaurant with a big terrace overlooking the Amstel River. Near the windmill where the famous painter Rembrandt used to paint.

Another option for biking: bike along The Amstel River towards "Oudenkerk aan de Amstel". Stop in between to have a drink here :)

Terrace in/on the riverside - nice walk along the river, but watch out for the cyclists.
