Very good food and you can work it off with a walk down the Avon where you can see all the pill boxes built in WWII

Freshford is a gorgeous village of cottages hugging steep, narrow lanes between Frome and Bath. If you are up for negotiating skinny lanes to get here, I'd thoroughly recommend it. Food is good, the location a pastoral treat!

Lovely pub, dog friendly, can walk there too across fields from Iford. Has station to Bath. Gorgeous country setting
