They call it the "City of the wind". Situated on the Atlantic coast, is worth the visit. Spend at least one night there.
Essaouira is a port city and resort on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Its medina (old town) is protected by 18th-century seafront ramparts called the Skala de la Kasbah, which were designed by European engineers. Old brass cannons line the walls, and there are ocean views. Strong "Alizée" trade winds make the city’s crescent beach popular for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. The city is also a popular film location having been featured in Game of Thrones, John Wick 4 and Wheel of Time, just to name a few. The old city (medina), which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2001, is a popular tourist destination and is famous for its its artisan industries, notably inlaid cabinetwork
