The Minoan Palace and the archaeological site of Malia are located 3 km East of the town of Malia.From the architectural point of view the Palace of Malia is the third- largest of the Minoan Palaces and is considered the most "provincial" of them. The most important finds are on display in the Archeological Museum of Heraklion:The Malia Bee Pendant,the Minoan scepter,shaped like a leopard’s head in the front and like a double axe in the back and the Acrobat on a roundel at the base of a sword.
