The North Star Loop Trail at Redhead MTB Park is approximately 3-miles of looped trail that starts and ends at the main trailhead just outside the Minnesota Discovery Center (see attached aerial map for reference). The trail offers stunning scenery every step of the way, including a wooden bridge neatly nestled among the tall timbers of Redhead, visually interesting terrain that changes in elevation throughout the hike, and of course the famous cliff-side views overlooking the mine-pit that make Redhead so special.

An awesome place to explore. This mountain bike park is relatively new but has attracted national attention. Lots of different skill level riding trails. Right next to the Discovery Center museum.
