The outdoor space here is wonderful, spread out and overlooks hop fields. They have very good beer, but also serve wine and delicious food! Live music on occasion. This is very close to Fernwood so would be a great option in Buchanan if you are headed to the Fernwood gardens....but definitely worth the short trip (15 mins). Dog friendly and they offer outdoor games to play while visiting.

Michigan's only organic brewery, this is one of my favorite hangouts. Great outdoor space that is kid and dog friendly. Adirondacks, fire pits, croquet sets, etc. Great beer, good food.

If you are in pursuit of great brewpubs, this is worth the 30 minute drive. In the winter it has an awesome curling/shuffleboard game on ice which is fun and summer has volleyball. Beer is good and you can also hit Lehman’s down the street. Plus Buchanan is a cute town with a preponderance of marijuana dispensaries!
