Run by a Japanese lady named Moko and a Lebanese guy named Omar, this neighborhood place looks more like a casual café, but they produce high-quality dishes. Everything is made fresh: the coffee, the bread, the cookies, and the cuisine. Don’t expect a fast lunch, but it’s delicious and worth the wait. You can reserve a table for lunch. In fact, they prefer it, because they only have about 20 seats. Don’t forget to try a cookie like peanut butter and chocolate or black olive confit and white chocolate.

Moko and Omar opened one of the most exciting café in the city. They both trained with some of the best chefs in the world. Try Moko's cookies - not your average chocolate chips cookies.

A former Yam’Tcha chef opened up Mokonuts, an eat-in or take-away bakery; their breakfast and their lunch is excellent.
