Lillinonah Woods is a small lake-side park, just a mile down our road. There's a parking area at the corner of Obtuse Rocks Rd and Rt 133. The wooded, wide gravel trail takes you down to a picnic area with a few tables and a view of the state boat launch and bridge to Bridgewater. Since this is a public park, you may find groups, families, fisherman, and boaters. Note that there is no swimming allowed here and that the docks to the right are for the Lake Authority Police boats and not for public use. Also, remember your walk back to the car will be uphill about a ½ mile.
