30 min away in San Juan Artisan Distillers is supporting local farmers in farming their own sugar cane and making rum, reviving a historical practice in the process. An all-around great experience and worth the admission. Call ahead to schedule a tour, part of which is outside, including a short walk in the sugar fields.
