This is a cheap way to travel. Vans pick up any place on the Highway where you are standing. They will transport you up and down the area. Taxi is good way to travel. There are many Transfer companies. I use USA Transfer. They are very dependable and safe drivers. Round trip to and from the Airport usually $120 for 2 to 4 people.

This is a very cheap, local way of public transportation. Going to cenotes, tulum and cancun.

If you are in Playa del Carmen, this is the pickup spot to catch a collectivo back towards Tulum.

It costs less than 5 usd (40 pesos) and both make less than one hour (the one from Playa to Tulum and also Playa to Cancun) it can stop at any point in the high way, Akumal beach, Cenote dos ojos, ixcacel ixcacelito etc. Open from 6am untill Midnight. Fast, cheap and safe even for Foreign Travellers
