One of the most traditional Danish foods are smørrebrød, which are open-faced sandwiches. You will see small restaurants selling this for lunch everywhere. The quality varies a lot! This is one of the better in the modern category.

Best open sandwiches you will find end off discussion. Herrings are a must-try :) expensive. Amazing wines and aquavite.
