Misuk Jung spent 15 years creating this museum in 10 hanok structures set in beautifully groomed gardens. One fifth of its more than 2,000 pieces of Korean furniture are on display at any given time, all categorized by usage, material, and origin. Many celebrities and head of states have visited to get a feel for the traditional Korean lifestyle. Reservations are required—they only provide private tours in small groups. They tend to get booked up quickly, so make a reservation well ahead of time.
