Fowey is not far from us. A short car or bus ride (no 25). If you like walking you can join the South West Coastal Path (about 7. 5 miles) It is a beautiful area with lovely shops & places to eat. Ferry’s to Bodinnick & Polruan. Boat trips to Mevagissey & around the coastline. Fowey was Daphne du Maurier’s favourite place.

Sometimes the hotel only allows guests at busy times but if your in Fowey it is definitely worth a try to have a cocktail on the balcony.

Fowey is approximately a 30 minute drive west from Looe. It is a beautiful harbour town set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Here you will find plenty of shops and restaurants to keep you busy.

Our favourite view from a Fowey restaurant, the sunsets are just spectacular - we can never resist a cocktail on the balcony before sitting down to eat.

Fowey harbour is absolutely beautiful. Walk around the lovely shops, cafes and pubs or hire a boat to explore the estuary. The fish and chip shop is superb, as are the three ice-cream parlours and the Quay Bakery's croissants are excellent.
