Put on your posh frock and suit for the County Stand or take a more relaxed view in the Grandstand & Paddock enclosure and have a great day. Racing takes place between May and October with the highlight being the Welcome To Yorkshire Ebor Festival in August.

York Racecourse hosts many fantastic race meets throughout the year. Some are catered to avid, traditional race goers however some weekend meets are tailored to family days where entertainment will be put on for the children. The Ebor Meeting is extremely popular as is Ladies Day and the John Smith's Cup. York Racecourse also hosts a Music Showcase Weekend which attracts lots of people each year.
