This is a 20 minute drive away but a spa afternoon here is exquisite as is their Michelin Star restaurant.

For something a little more, Whatley Mannor is about 5 minute drive away on the road into Malmesbury (or a very very decent (long) walk by footpaths with the last stretch along the road). Whatley is a beautiful hotel and spa offering treatments and a 2* Michelin Dining Room Restaurant as well as Greys Brasserie. I highly recommend even the Brasserie for a special occasion.
