For the kayaking on the Colorado river between Glenn Canyon Dam and Lee's Ferry boat ramp - you can get a lift up rive and paddle down in one long day or two short with camping on the river.

There are several rafting company's in Page that can arrange your float trip. You can take your own kayak, and take a water taxi up to the dam. But honestly, the drive is gorgeous, the balance rocks are neat, and the old building and orchard are worth the trip.
