it has great cuban food. make sure to order a side of sweet plantains. great cuban sandwiches, chicken fricasse, and their specialty is pork which is a huge serving and delicious.

El Cochinito is one of Silver Lake’s true success stories, having been in operation at their strip mall location since 1988. The restaurant has slowly been modernizing to fit the times, and even won a coveted national award for its Cubano sandwich, but mostly it’s still about family and lots of delicious porky flavor at this longstanding hit.
