環境庁の名水百選に選ばれている名水で非常に美味しいです。 夏にはその水の冷たさで瓜が自然に割れた事から「瓜割水」と呼ばれているそうです。 It is a very famous water that has been selected as one of the 100 Best Waters by Japanese Environment Agency. It is called "Uriwari" (watermelon-breaking in Japanese) because the watermelon was broken naturally by the cold water in the summer.
