Good open bakery cafe for morning.

Shinshindo is one of the old-school local cafes. Great for breakfasts when you can get a sandwich, a salad and all you can drink coffee for about 700¥. Their baked sweets are pretty good too, as I often get the cinnamon donut. Open early around 7:30 so good if you are off on a long day's adventure. There are many around the city but I usually go to the one on Oike, north side, between Yanagi Baba and Tominokoji dori.
