Pick your own fruit and veg in season - starts with asparagus in May and goes through the summer fruit season. Yum! A great family outing.

A great farm shop and in season pick your own asparagus and fruit. They have a super Cafe and open out of season in late November/ early December with a lovely Christmas shop full of beautifully curated locally produced gifts. Well worth including on a trip to or from Oxford. Another side trip from here either with or without a dog is Otmoor bird sanctuary . A great place to wile a away a few hours at any time of year, but during spring and autumn the Murmurations of the migrating birds is truly a sight to behold. Located near the lovely village of Beckley a bonus extra is the super Abingdon Arms pub. A great place for Sunday lunch after a long walk around the bird reserve. NB- you can only bring dogs to certain parts of the reserve, so if you want the full “ornithology”experience maybe not one for you, but we have had a super couple of walks around the outskirts of the reserve with ours, so not impossible. (6.5 miles/10.5 km drive) A great but busy PYO (pick-your-own) and farm shop, with a cafe too. Open April to October, and December.

It's a very well run pick your own fruit farm with excellent farm shop & café plus free activities for the children once they've had their fill of strawberries - sand pit and bouncy castle
