We are blessed to have our old picture theatre still operating in town - yes canvas sling seats, and movies all weekend! Fantastic sell-out performances by Malanda Theatre Company 3-4 times a year!

Malanda has the oldest continuously operating movie theatre and we recommend enjoying a movie at this historic building with its old world charm and canvas seats. Recommend you take a cushion.
