At the northern end of Hastings street you enter the Noosa woods. Parking is often a bit better down here. The spit is a blast and often a local party spot on the weekends. You can play in the river or the ocean, watch the pontoon boats roll by, and see a glorious sunset over Noosa North Shore. At low tide you can sometimes swim to Noosa Northshore-occasional Bull sharks-beware.
