We are also minutes away from the Snake, Salt, and Grey's Rivers along with several National Forests including Bridger Teton and Targhee. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled at the base of Red Butte, the road from the Sanctuary leads to Shoshone Lake, which is a rugged drive for ATV enthusiasts. For climbers and outdoor lovers, it is a 20 minute drive to climbing in the Sinks Canyon area and less than an hour to Wild Iris climbing area. A 5-mile drive will take you into downtown Lander, which offers an award-winning breweries, unique shops to browse, and beautiful walks along the Popo Agie River.
