Cabin A: 4 adults+1 child (2 bedrooms) Cabin B: 4-6 guests (total 8 in both cabins). The cabins are not connected. About 10 m from each other (connected by a patio). Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

The cottage is luxurious and has an outdoor natural water hot tub from where you can enjoy the Northern Lights or the fantastic sunset. The living area and the balcony have a spectacular view overlooking the fjord and surrounding mountains. The cottage is a great base for day tours in the south or west of Iceland. Gullfoss, Geysir, Thingvellir and Snæfells glacier are all within 1-2 hours’ drive.

Hóll Guesthouse

Come for a stay at a farm in the South-west part of Iceland. Enjoy the nature on a conventional Icelandic farm. During winter you might see the northern lights and experience the constant day during summer. Dairy cows, sheep and horses roam around on the farm in the summer but stay inside during winter. Additionally, a total of 4 dogs live, work and play on the farm. This is a working farm so don't be alarmed by tractors and all sorts of farm noise and smells.

Hvalfjarðarsveit Cottage with Mountain view

It's located in West Iceland with a view over Lake Eiðisvatn, the Hvalfjörður and the spectacular mountains around the fjord. Behind the small village of Melahverfi, which is signposted on the ringroad. Akranes is around 15 minutes away. In autumn and winter, this is also a good place to watch the Northern Lights. Although the view is wonderful, you can't help but see an aluminium plant a few kilometres away.

The cottage is close to the sea and you can see the seals play along the shore. The cottage although small is ideal for 2-4 person. It´s well equipped and has a private hot tub on the veranda, where you can soak while enjoying the view. There is no light polution like in Reykjavik and towns so this place is ideal for watching the Northern Lights.
