Our charming cottage forms part of a grade 2 listed mill, residing in the tranquil hamlet of Wensley just outside the market town of Leyburn. The contemporary country style loft cottage is warm and welcoming. The cottage is rural and surrounded by fields in all directions. Rest and relax in front of the log burner on a cold winter's evening or unwind with a glass of your favourite tipple in the enclosed garden with hot tub looking out over the idyllic views of Wensleydale, towards Penn Hill.

Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

The cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few minutes’ walk from the pretty Georgian square in the centre of Richmond, North Yorkshire. Recently fully renovated, it provides spacious, comfortable accommodation. Richmond is a historic market town with unique shops, great restaurants, tea rooms and bars. It boasts a magnificent Norman castle on the spectacular Swale river with plenty of walks and sight-seeing, both locally and further afield in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Boot and Shoe is beautifully situated on the banks of the river Tees, 5 miles from Barnard Castle in the pretty hamlet of Wycliffe. Outdoors an abundance of wildlife, river swimming, tennis court and private fishing; indoors cosy wood stoves and all mod cons. Ideal for visiting historic Raby Castle, Auckland Palace and Durham City and the wilds of upper Teesdale and the Yorkshire dales.
