The Quart

Weston sub Edge is a small village close to the start of the Cotswold Way, 20 minutes from the home of Shakespeare at Stratford Upon Avon, two miles from Chipping Campden and its Music and Literature Festivals, Broadway, Longborough Opera, Daylesford, and National Trust properties. We are perfectly located for walking and exploring. Do bring your dog but please don't leave them on their own in The Quart. Transport is essential as we are very rural and taxis and buses aren't always available.

Bucolic walks along the Cotswolds Way pass the front door. This 17thC property has been "gently coaxed into the 21st century" as a Cotswolds Place project designed for easy, restful stays.

This is a second floor loft apartment in the heart of Stratford-Upon-Avon. We are located on a pedestrianised street and Shakespeare’s birthplace is less than 100 yards away. Everything this beautiful town has to offer is right on the doorstep. It’s only a 7 minute flat walk from the train station and there is a taxi rank within a minute’s walk too. The apartment itself is double glazed and very quiet. We’ve just refurbished it throughout (May 2021) and are so excited to start welcoming guests!

If walking/cycling is your passion it’s just 2mins walk to get onto the tow path of the Worcestershire /Staffordshire canal or onto the River Severn which leads to Bewdley.

You are 5 minutes walk to the Malvern Festival Theatre, Malvern Hills and the towns, bars, restaurants, and shops. The 3 Counties Showground is just 10 minutes drive, as is the Morgan Factory.

The private flat, sleeps 2, with shower, toilet & bidet. Breakfast is also provided.

At Saintbury Grounds Farm we have three self-catering holiday let properties set within the converted outbuildings of our 17th century Cotswold stone farmhouse. Full of charm and character, they are light, comfortable, contemporary spaces, finished and equipped to a very high standard. Can be booked separately or for larger groups of up to 8 people. Holywell Suite is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment which beautifully combines the latest modern comforts whilst retaining the character of the historic building of Wells House with exposed original oak beams. Breath-taking far reaching views of the Worcestershire countryside can be enjoyed from all rooms and the famous Malvern Hills are right on your doorstep. Holywell Suite opened its doors to visitors in June 2012 after a careful and extensive refurbishment of Wells House.

Relaxing retreat on the edge of the Cotswolds

The house is situated 10 minutes away from Moreton In Marsh, a beautiful cotswolds town with great train links to London, as well as being close to Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace). The village has a great pub which is 1/2 a mile down a single track lane from the studio. Guests will be welcomed by either myself, Jo or Ken.
