Moose and Mimis Temora

Moose and Mimis was built to accommodate our large, blended and ever growing family when they come to visit (hence the name!) The accommodation is contemporary and designed for comfort - we like to treat the children and created a resort feel. We are walking distance to main street (900m), across the road from both the information centre and Temora Rural Museum. A playground, pool area and BBQ are all available for guests to use. There is a farm stay feel as well with a variety of 'pets' here.

"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Although built in 1884 Anglesey has all of the facilities that are expected in a modern home. More history available in the guest guide.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This one of a kind accommodation provides stunning sunsets, delightful bushwalks, animal antics, while still maintaining complete comfort. There is heating/cooling throughout, a full kitchen, bathroom including washer/dryer, television and a supply of reading material. Relax in the spa, toast marshmallows at the firepit, or stargaze through the telescope. Enjoy a farm tour (on request) to learn about beef cattle and regenerative farming.

Kames - Cottage 2

Kames Cottages provides a peaceful secluded rural Setting close enough to the township of Temora but offers an outback getaway. Two Self contained cottages with reverse cycle air conditioning, two bedrooms, queen bed plus double/single bunk. linen is provided, barbeque facilities and pool are available. We are happy to have pets but there are house rules for them. Positioned 6 klms from the township of Temora and also close to the Temora Aviation Museum and Temora Lake Centenary.

McRae Cottage, 4 Beds, 1 Bath in Barellan

Step back in time and enjoy the charm of Barellan at our lovingly restored 1923 homestead. Once the town’s original hospital, this historic home is rich with stories. For over 60 years, it was the spirited family home of John and Margaret McRae – filled with love, laughter, and a touch of mischief. We now honour their legacy by opening the home to guests. Located in the birthplace of tennis legend Evonne Goolagong and home of the iconic 'Clydesdales' festival and Barellan Beer.

Elora Cottage - A peaceful rural getaway

This stylish, peaceful cottage is a perfect getaway for solo guests and families alike, looking for a comfortable and relaxing pet-friendly place to stay. Elora Cottage is private and secure and packed with all the comforts we thought our guests would most enjoy including two bedrooms with very comfy queen beds, spacious fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, laundry and a study / work nook which can become a third bedroom. By George is close to everything on the main street , it's a 1 minute walk, two if you dawdle making it easy to plan your visit. Build started in early 1900's and was finally finished in 1907. The little home attached to the back of 136 was originally built as a family home. It backs on to what was the original Main St , though no horses are clip clopping along it any more. It's quiet quaint different and cosy all at the same time. Definitely one of a kind , come see.
