Value based cottage sits just feet from “all sports” 550 acre Round Lake. Enjoy your morning coffee next to the lake on your covered patio. This cottage is the lower half of a 2 story duplex. Plenty of room on the dock for your boat, or rent my pontoon ($800/wk, $200/day) or enjoy complimentary use of the kayaks. My lake bottom is shallow hard sand, perfect for swimming for kids of all ages (also a large floating matt for your use). 2nd bedroom not 100% private. Best for kids or family

The upper level features two bedrooms and shared bathroom. The lower level features a primary bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and two living areas (including dedicated workspace). Walk the trails or walk to the winery. MAX OCCUPANCY is TWO guests. You can add a third for $30/night. Guests may not bring additional people, no matter how long. Information on hiking trails, local events, and eateries in the area are listed in the cabin. A grill is available, and also on the deck is a clawfoot bathtub and outside shower (closed now because of colder weather!) There is a shower in the cabin, too. Be sure to be on the lookout for the wildlife in the area!!

Less than ten minutes from Hillsdale College with a fully equipped kitchen, this makes a great home base for college families. When we travel, we enjoy places with character, and we have maintained the character of this old fashioned family home.
