Long Barn is a newly renovated apartment on a private countryside estate, set in an AONB in some of England’s most beautiful countryside. It is situated on a quiet country lane on the edge of Winterbourne, yet within easy reach of the M4 & A34 and the local market towns of Newbury and Hungerford, with good links to Oxford, Reading and Swindon. London is only 42 mins by train. We are lucky to have several superb restaurants, charming country pubs, and a local farm shop all within just 3 miles.

The Pottery Barn

This is a self contained annex above a double garage (please note low roof angles in places) with an independent door. It has one king size bed with some seating and a TV and dinning table. There is a small kitchenette including a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The ensuite has a basic electric shower and usual amenities. There is internet available. If you would like to bring a child please contact us before to check if suitable. There is parking on the main road or opposite in a Close.

Brays Cottage, Inkpen - Perfect Country Time...

Inkpen Cottage, just like "the holiday" film, with annexe and extension making it very stylish and quirky. Located at the highest point of the beautiful village of Inkpen just below Combe Gibbett and the Berkshire Downlands. The Cottage is a new house in a seventeenth century beamed one with incredible views from the garden. The countryside is spectacular with more horse, bikes and paragliders passing by than cars...Dog safe Garden! The annexe is ideal for kids / grandparents

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. Vodafone Headquarters is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car. Newbury Racecourse is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car. Newbury railway station is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car.

The River Kennet runs through the grounds leading to the canal and towpaths making visiting Hungerford and Newbury a pleasure by foot or bicycle. Fantastic rail routes from Newbury / only 50 minutes from London.

A detached, Grade ll, 200 year old thatched cottage in the small village of Ashford Hill, close to Newbury. My husband Andy and I own this one bedroom cottage, which has been carefully furnished and has parking and a small dedicated outdoor space.. It is an ideal base to explore the local area. Guests can visit Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey), attend the races at Newbury Race Course or enjoy the walks in the surrounding area including Watership Down.
