Ansons Bay remote paradise within the Bay of Fires

Ansons Bay is a remote holiday village within the Bay of Fires which we call Paradise. Although it is remote we do have free WiFi. The house is a perfect place to relax on the verandah, go fishing, take one of our kayaks out on the bay or up the river, there's plenty of walking trails, I can assist you with information on self guided Bay of Fires walks. There's a mooring available for your boat. You just need to bring your provisions as the closest shops and fuel are 1/2 hour away.

Trail View is our special spot in Derby. Historically steeped in the mining past, our bedrooms look out of lead light sunray's to the moss laden forest below as does the deep bath with unlimited hot water for bathing and showers. A relaxing , tranquil and private home with everything we need to revive the senses after an adventurous day on the trails. The wood burning heaters and fire pit circle provides us a cosy area to gather where stories are told and memories made.

#birdhousestudiostas are two modern unique architectural, one bedroom houses hovering on a steeply sloping site with extraordinary views to the east over Launceston and the mountains beyond. Each studio has an individual personality inspired by the qualities of its site and a desire to create a sustainable buildings with the lowest possible carbon footprint and environmental impact. Kersbrook Cottage near Derby

Our newly-renovated cottage is located half way between Derby and Weldborough, about a ten minute drive to both destinations. The property is peaceful and quiet , surrounded by hilly pastures and direct access to a fully fenced native forest with a few MTB trails for a short ride (Kersbrook Stash) and other areas for walks. It is great for couples, MTB riders and specially families because Minishredders Babysitting Service is just next door.
