Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

Welcome to our quiet court away from the noisy centre of Horsham city but still within a few minutes drive from the town centre. We are situated on 5 acres and enjoy natures gift of birds, peace and tranquility. Enjoy morning walks along the river and all that Horsham has to offer. Note: We have a 7 year old lab which is outside during the day and would not be a bother.

Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

Whitby House is set in a lush garden, and features rooms decorated with old world charm. It offers a private, self-contained arrangement, with a separate entrance. It can accommodate between one to four guests. Whitby House features a lounge/dining room, kitchenette, large bathroom, and two spacious bedrooms. A cot and baby bath are available upon request. The space is NOT shared with other guests.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located house. Swampgum Rise is suitable for singles, couples, families and groups. It is convenient to Halls Gap village restaurants and bars as well as close to many of the hiking trails. The house is showing its age a little (built in late 1970s), but it is cosy and homely. Special discount applies for more-than-one-nighters.
