The Anderson House

Featuring a full kitchen, an open floor plan, and inviting outdoor spaces, The Anderson House offers a perfect retreat for relaxation or exploration. A short walk across the grounds leads to a small coffee roastery, farmland, and a state forestry park, where guests can immerse themselves in outdoor activities or enjoy a delicious coffee.

Serene country stay. Great for a couple, an outdoorsman, or travelers! Includes use of pond, fishing poles, kayaks, and hiking trail. Our pet ducks roam freely about. Use of gas grill, firepit and firewood. Bow target available upon request. This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin foam couch. We don't allow pets.

Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

The area is rural and quiet. The property is not fully fenced in. SORRY NO CATS Dog Friendly - Dog should be house trained, no fleas, and up to date on all vacations. We also packed as many amenities as we could into this property including an oversized 6-Person hot tub, 500 MBPS fiber internet, outdoor tv, fire pit table, Weber grill, hammock swings, custom bathroom with rainfall shower, full kitchen, coffee bar, king & queen sized beds, bean bag toss, board games and much more!

We have a 2000 sq. ft. home located on 3 acres in a very country setting. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, master bed room has queen size bed, second bedroom has full size bed and third bedroom has 2 twin beds. Large master bath with large soaking tub and shower. Spacious kitchen is set up to cook if you like, . The back porch over looks the woods and fields with lots of deer siting. Our location is very quit and peaceful. also there is a garage you have access to.

A quiet country setting, dark enough to see the stars, but not far from town with everything you need! Come make yourself at home! Need a flexible check in or check out time, ask…we’ll accommodate that if it fits the calendar! We offer late checkout of 6PM on Sundays for an additional $40 if you make arrangements with us to do so.
