Cozy Cottage on South Shore. 30 min from Halifax!

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

This bright oceanfront chalet/cabin is secluded, quiet and all about nature, 20 minutes from Halifax. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 floors with a deck right on the ocean. The chabet is open concept, modern, and finished with hardwood floors, copper accents and all the basic comforts. The location makes it ideal for hiking, yoga, relaxing and oceanfront living. The house is 1300 ft2. There is a heat pump for heating and cooling, the woodstove is not for guest use.

Castle Bay Cottage

This adorable completely re-modeled cottage is steps away from the beautiful, sandy, salt water beach known as Coolen's Beach in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia. Twenty minutes from Halifax with hiking, kayaking, golf courses and restaurants all close by and scenic Peggy's Cove a short 20 minute drive away. We have created a charming and super comfortable retreat. We are sure our guests will enjoy the relaxing, peaceful vibe that this hidden little gem offers.

Cozy Apartment, Fully Serviced

Please read: Our family of three live upstairs with two dogs who bark from time to time. You can expect some normal noise, we provide earplugs and a sound machine for extra comfort. Relax in a private cozy basement basement apartment with separate entrance and parking, just across from Hatchet Lake with tons of nature and trails around. Sleeps four comfortably with two queen beds. Sorry, no pets, our pups upstairs have the furry quota covered!
