The perfect area for watersports, wild swimming, walking, mooching around the harbour & locality, sampling the local seafood & eateries & just simply relaxing.

Beautiful rural retreat, outskirts of Swanage

Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. All without crossing a road.

34 Monmouth Beach

34 Monmouth Beach lies to the west of the historic Cobb in Lyme Regis. It is a beautifully finished and stylishly furnished wooden chalet right on the beach. Enjoy uninterrupted sea views from the generous wooden deck at the front of the chalet. There is parking behind the chalet and a ramped access. Our chalet is great for couples, small families, friends; it can sleep 4. Our change over days are Friday and Monday (though this listing may state Fridays only), check in 4pm, check out 10am.

We are so excited about our conversion. Completely self-contained, it is a lovely, light, cosy open space with a well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and a cool sleeping platform/mezzanine. Piddlehinton is a special place, 20 mins from the Jurassic Coast and 10 mins from Dorchester, in the renowned Piddle Valley, with beautiful walks, views and our award winning pub, The Thimble Inn. We are right next door if you need anything, but if you prefer your privacy, you can be totally separate.

Although the Annexe is part of our family home, we no longer live in the house & the property is only for guests staying at the annexe. During your stay explore the Dorset coast & forests, eat delicious meals at our local restaurants & pubs, spend a relaxing evening in fully covered hot tub surrounded by festoons lights, or spend the afternoon in the garden. The Annexe is a couple minutes walk away from pubs, restaurants, M&S & Tesco & lovely woodland walks. Sky sports is include.

The Barn Little Birch

Wooden barn conversion that's been converted to the highest spec, on the edge of a pretty rural Dorset village. Only a few miles from the stunning Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, there is plenty of walks attractions for all the family. The world famous Monkey world and Tank Museum is only a 10 minute drive away, you could also visit the ruins of Corfe castle with beautiful village it is set in. We are 20 minute drive from Dorchester which was the home of Thomas Hardy.

Situated a five minute walk from the centre of beautiful Corfe Castle, the Mousehole is a newly converted and fitted out annexe to our home. It is light and bright, yet peaceful. Completely self contained and surrounded by glorious countryside, you can explore from the doorstep. We have four pubs within a short walk, and a fabulous village shop / Post Office. Beaches are within a short drive or bus ride and the Swanage Railway steam trains stop in the village.
