It features a stone fireplace, fire pit, lounge sofas, & dining tables. This cabin is private with lush woodlands around it and endless leisures like floating down the river in the summer sun or having a snowball fight as the flakes fall in winter. No matter the season, this cabin is perfect for family & friends to gather to enjoy each other’s company!

You'll love our cabin in the woods! Once a historic mercantile, the Wissahickon Cabin has been transformed into a cozy cabin for 2 - 4 guests. The cabin is situated in the forest and visible from the Gandy Dancer Trail. The front porch boasts an access path directly to the popular Woolly Bike Trail. Our cabin is secluded in the woods, but it's less than a 5-minute drive to downtown St Croix Falls, Interstate Park, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Enjoy a peaceful getaway in the north woods!

The cabin/tiny house is well appointed and designed for beauty and comfort. Enjoy access to the river as well as our wood fired sauna and wood fired hot tub. Equipped with a queen sized bed in the loft, cooktop, solar power, and a pump sink. A gas fireplace keeps you warm in the winter. We invite you to come and rest, and leave restored.

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!

Our forty-acre immigrant farmstead hosts retreat guests committed to creativity, spirituality, and learning. We're near several rivers and the city of trails. We have five kilometers of trails on the property with woods, prairie, and ponds for walking, birding, cross-country skiing, and delight. We prize healthy holistic living. Fire pit with Adirondacks and grill and plenty of wood, propane and Edison lights. Private use bathhouse with shower (open april 15-oct 7) and year round camping toilet.
