Casita Grande at Roatan Backpackers' Hostel

The casita grande is a house on the hostel property- you'll have your own kitchen, living area, porch, bedroom, loft bedroom, bathroom, and have access to the communal pool and patio. The main bedroom has a ceiling fan, and optional a/c is an extra $10/night. The hostel is located on a residential side street of Sandy Bay, about a 5 min walk to the closest water access for great snorkeling, and a 15 min walk to a prettier beach. West End is around a 5 min drive away, less than $1 in bus.

Rated one of the best beaches in the world. Access to gym, spa, and meal and drink packages for additional cost at front desk. Guests will pay the Honduras tax of 19% to the resort when there. Only other fee is $58 final cleaning at checkout unless you charge to the room when staying there.
