Don't worry there is strong cellphone coverage if you need to turn your phone on. My 100 year old villa does have all of the other mod cons and is situated 2 minutes walk from the train station and five minutes from the cafes, restaurants and pubs. And my back gate opens onto Howard Booth Park - for exercise & play.
