Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

It is a short walk along the river or by the castle, to the village where you will find independent shops, local pubs and restaurants. Coquet Way is also close to the many delights of Northumberland, including sandy beaches, impressive castles and stunning countryside. Cross House Studio - dog friendly barn conversion

Cross House Studio is situated in the very centre of this popular, picturesque and historic village only 500 yards from the castle. Shops, friendly village pubs, lovely cafes and unique bistros are all within 50 yards but the property still provides a quiet retreat being tucked away behind the main high street. The property is part of an 18th century barn conversion and still has exposed stonework. The studio is next to the owner’s property along with one further holiday apartment.

Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

Our lovely house has been a labour of love. My partner, Richard, with help from his brother, has put his heart into renovating and remodelling the house to a style we love. My part was sourcing all the retro furniture, tiles and paint colours which happens to be one of my favourite pastimes! The house reflects our quirky taste and my love of mid century furniture!
