Old Jail at St. Drogo's

The Old Lewis County Jail at St. Drogo's house is part of a revitalization and repurposing of the county's old jail. In addition to this residence, St. Drogo's house has a coffee roastery / coffee bar as well as an artisanal bakery located on the first floor. Wake up to the smell of freshly baking croissants and espresso! Lowville is in the geographical center of Lewis County. We're a stone's throw from the Adirondacks, the Black River and the Tug Hill. Sunset Cottage is cleaned in compliance with CDC COVID-19 Lodging cleaning standards before you vacation there. Sunset Cottage is only 15 feet from Tupper Lake with a sandy spot for launching canoes/kayaks and a large dock where you can moor your powerboat if you bring one. Dock seating and swimming with a dog friendly stair. Fire pit with firewood on the lawn with Adirondack chairs for your use. Two, kayaks come with the rental. Newly renovated interior with beautiful Adirondack decor.

Take a day and go on the trails and see the water falls in the area. You can also take a day trip to long lake,crandberry lake or even head over to lake placid and to white face mountain. The possibilities are endless. Cabin is off grid but there is a propane heater in cabin and porta potty on property.

This private guest space in the second floor of our garage has it's own entrance, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom in a very convenient location. We are 5 minutes from Saranac Lake, 10 Minutes from Lake Placid, and 25 minutes from Whiteface. Located on a peninsula of Oseetah Lake, we have waterfront access perfect for ice skating, snowshoeing and XC skiing in the winter right from our doorstep. The lake offers sweeping views of Ampersand and the surrounding mountains.

The Nest

Your year round base-camp for activities, events, or just relaxing in the Adirondacks. This stylish brand new one-bedroom apartment is perfect for group trips or if the two of you want to get away by yourselves, also featuring a queen size bed with a Dreamcloud mattress in the private bedroom with a TV, plus two sofa beds and a couch to accommodate more in your group if others are joining you. The apartment is above the garage which is separate from the house.

Cabin at Laing Family Farm

The Cabin at LFF is a small and cozy spot halfway between Canton and Potsdam. It sits on the edge of our small orchard on our 220 acre certified organic farm. From the front porch and kitchen window you can view our horses and/or cows grazing in their pasture. It has a kitchen, living area, loft bedroom and full bath. There is a Roku TV and Free wifi.
