Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

This allows you the option of staying in a fully furnished home at a reasonable rate whether your group is large or small.

Lakeside Cabin on 40 acres of solitude on the inlet of beautiful Lake Shetek has the most peaceful views of the sunrise, waterfowl, and stargazing. There are walking trails and an amazing playground to enjoy. The fire pit and fishing dock also add to the experience. Feel free to set up a tent for additional sleeping space if needed.
