Village House in Alentejo

Located in the outskirt of the little village of Santana de Cambas, near the Spanish border. Country house typically of the Alentejo region, spacious, with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Very pleasant garden with broad view on the surrounding hills. The garden may not be green in the Summer due to severe water shortage. The Chança dam reservoir less than 2 km away is suitable for water sports and accessible through a rural road. The beautiful Mina de São Domingos river beach is 12 km away.

Casa do Troco used to be an old trading house with a barbershop and a ballroom, where the inhabitants of the neighbouring villages danced to the sound of a local accordion player. Today it is a spacious house with a swimming pool, an old outside threshing floor turned into a terrace and a giant cooking and dining space with a kitchen island that invites you to cook with family and friends.
