Our house is cozy and was recently renovated. We put a lot of work and love into this house and are happy to share it with our family and friends. Casa do Lagar is one of the 3 villas of Quinta Velha das Amoreiras, an agricultural property located on the quiet outskirts of Vila Franca do Campo, in the center of São Miguel Island. Casa do Lagar is an entire house inside our farm. It has one double bedroom and two single beds on the mezzanine above the living room. A car is required.

Having the sea as a backdrop, this apart. is 700 metres from Lagoa city centre and 13 km from the João Paulo II Airport. It consists of 2 double bed rooms, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette and a living room with a panoramic view of the ocean. This space was designed to provide moments of pure relaxation, offering a SPA and a solarium designed over the sea.

House with Suspended Living Room

Our Retreat is a rural nineteenth-century house, restored with the desire to conserve the time of construction characteristics. Not only did we keep the main structure of the house, but also the fire oven and the respective chimney, the mill of wine production and the basalt stone floor . And, to finalize we added a suspended living room - literally a glass cube.

Vila’s Traditional House

Our house follows a traditional trait and is decorated accordingly. It has been in our family for three generations and sits in a quiet area in Vila Franca do Campo, where the best beaches of São Miguel are located along with Islet’s Natural Reserve.
